Cat Litter Cleaning and Usage Recommendations; Adding enough litter to the litter box makes cleaning easier and increases your cat’s comfort. Generally, the litter depth should be 5-7 cm. Adding too little litter can cause urine to accumulate at the bottom and may require more frequent complete litter changes. Daily, use a scoop to remove clumped urine and feces. Stir the remaining litter to allow air circulation and prevent bad odors. We recommend topping up the litter to 7 cm after daily cleaning. We recommend completely emptying and thoroughly cleaning the litter box every two weeks. Empty all the litter from the box. Wash the box with warm water and unscented soap. Rinse the box thoroughly to remove all soap residue and let it dry completely.
