Feed your pet according to its size, breed, life stage, and daily activity level.
Keep in mind that puppies and kittens require nearly twice as much energy as adult pets. Overweight or senior animals, on the other hand, need smaller portions.
For most pets, we recommend feeding twice a day.
You can divide the daily amount specified in the feeding chart into two meals, given in the morning and evening at intervals of 8–12 hours. For example, if 1 measuring cup per day is recommended, give ½ cup in the morning and ½ cup in the evening.
Over time, you can better observe your pet’s ideal daily needs and adjust the portion accordingly. These amounts may change depending on age and activity level. Remember, a fit dog or cat is a healthy pet.
Some dogs and cats have a strong appetite and will finish all the food given to them.
Petaşk foods are highly appealing in terms of taste; therefore, be careful not to overfeed. Otherwise, unwanted weight gain or digestive issues may occur.
Dogs and cats are usually fed the same food for long periods. Therefore, a sudden change in food can make it difficult for their digestive systems to adapt. For this reason, transitioning to a new food gradually is important. Slowing down the transition process helps your dog or cat adjust to the new food and reduces the risk of digestive discomfort.
Start the transition by mixing 25% of the new food with 75% of the current food, and gradually increase the proportion of the new food over a period of 5–7 days.
